... Red flag warning in effect from 10 am to 11 PM MDT Wednesday...
The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a red flag warning... which is in effect from 10 am to 11 PM MDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* Area and timing... north central mountains... west Central Highlands... northeast and east Central Plains... and the middle Rio Grande Valley. Critical conditions are expected to develop mid morning Wednesday and persist through late Wednesday evening.
* 20 foot winds... southwest to west sustained at 25 to 40 mph with occasional gusts as high as 50 to 60 mph.
* Relative humidity... falling to 5 to 10 percent area wide by midday Wednesday and persisting though late Wednesday evening.
