... Red flag warning in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Tuesday... ... Red flag warning in effect from 10 am to 11 PM MDT Wednesday...
The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a red flag warning... which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Tuesday. A red flag warning has also been issued from 10 am to 11 PM MDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* Area and timing... northwest plateau and Highlands... northeast Highlands... Sandia and Manzano and Gallinas Mountains. Critical conditions will develop by midday Tuesday... diminishing near sunset Tuesday evening. On Wednesday critical conditions are expected to develop by mid morning... then persist through the late evening hours.
* 20 foot winds... southwest to west sustained at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph Tuesday afternoon. Southwest to west winds will increase Wednesday... becoming sustained at 25 to 40 mph with occasional gusts as high as 50 or 60 mph.
* Relative humidity... minimums ranging from 5 to 10 percent Tuesday afternoon. Five to 10 percent by midday Wednesday and persisting through late evening.

* 20 foot winds... southwest to west sustained at 25 to 40 mph with occasional gusts as high as 50 to 60 mph.
* Relative humidity... falling to 5 to 10 percent area wide by midday Wednesday and persisting though late Wednesday evening.
