Winter Weather Advisory is in effect tonight... light snow will continue to move into far northern portions of Nebraska through 11 PM CST (10 PM mst). The bulk of the activity will be along and north of Highway 20 from Hay Springs to Valentine...and along Highway 12 from Valentine to Springview. Snowfall rates of up to a half an inch per hour are possible. In addition to snow...gusty northerly winds of 20 to 30 mph will reduce visibility...making travel hazardous. Reduce speeds and allow extra time to reach your destination.

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to
9 am CST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect from
9 PM this evening to 9 am CST Wednesday.

A strong cold front and upper level disturbance will bring
accumulation snow and blowing snow to north central Nebraska. Snow
accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected... which may cause
limited visibility... slick and snow packed roadways... and a hazard
to travelers.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
