The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ to 9 PM
CDT /8 PM MDT/ Tuesday.

* Timing: south winds will increase late in the morning and
continue to slowly increase throughout the afternoon. Winds will
diminish late in the afternoon.

* Winds: south at 30 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.

* Impacts: strong wind gusts will make travel hazardous for high
profile or light weight vehicles traveling on east west
highways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
