Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:19 PM CST on December 2, 2008 |
... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to 9 am CST Wednesday...
The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 9 am CST Wednesday.
A strong cold front and upper level disturbance will bring accumulation snow and blowing snow to north central Nebraska. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected... which may cause limited visibility... slick and snow packed roadways... and a hazard to travelers.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
