... Wind Chill Advisory now in effect until 5 am akst Wednesday...

The Wind Chill Advisory is now in effect until 5 am akst
Wednesday.

Sub zero temperatures combined with north winds gusting to 40 mph
are creating wind chills from 35 to 45 below zero in the Alaska
Range. The very low wind chills will persist through Wednesday
morning.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
